    Our 04 nights stay at the George Hotel by Saffron was really exceptional. The rooms were spacious and equipped with all the required amenities. The food was really great and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. Location wise, it’s very close to Al-Ras metro station and very convenient to move around. The staff was really supportive and I would like to mention the name of Mr. Naeem who thoroughly helped us during our check-in & check-out.

    Checked in late but receptionist got us a free room upgrade. It was a junior suite and we had the best time staying there. Food was also good. Highly recommended!

    The room was huge! Everything worked fine but it is a little bit tired. Absolutely no problem for us but some people seem to expect decor less than a couple of years old. The location was great for accessing the souls and using the abra for crossing the creek.

    I couldn’t check in early as the hotel was fully booked, so I stayed at another hotel for a few hours—but that one was quite old and disappointing.Now for the actual stay at this hotelI booked it online for 180, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting much after my earlier experience. But to my surprise, it turned out to be a great choice! Located in Deira, the older part of Dubai, it had all the necessary facilities, souqs within walking distance, and a mesmerizing creek view. Overall, a pleasant and worthwhile stay!

    “A wonderful stay”Our stay in the hotel was great. Very close to the Al Ras metro and bus stop. The Premier room was superb with the creek view. Very close to the wholesale shopping area in Deira. The rooms were cleaned well even if we didnt request. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we requested certain amenities within few minutes it was given to the room. Certain changes in the bathroom and doors need to be done as it is quite old.

    I have stayed at George Hotel Dubai three times, and my experiences have been mixed.The first time was great the price was reasonable around 250 aed with breakfast, and I was given a spacious room with a separate living area, a nice bathroom, and a bedroom with beautiful view of Dubai Creek. I was very happy with my stay.The second time, was disappointing. The price was much higher than before, (around 320aed without breakfast) so I expected a similar or even better room. Instead, I was given a very small room with two single beds joined together as a double bed. There was a view, but the room was too cramped, with barely enough space to move around.The third time, I booked during Ramadan at a reasonable price, Around 110aed with all taxes, and this time, I was given a big room with a double bed, similar to the one I got during my first stay. However, there was no view..The third time, I booked during Ramadan, and the price was reasonable. However, this time, I was given a room with no view, which I didn’t like, but the room itself was good, so I was very satisfied.Other than that, the location is excellent, very close to the metro, Gold Souq, and Dubai Abra. There are many restaurants, a grocery store nearby, and online food delivery is very convenient. I never used room service, but the overall facilities seemed good.Overall, the hotel has its pros and cons. If you get a good price and a spacious room with a view, its a great stay. But the pricing inconsistency and room variations can be frustrating..Recommendation: If you can get a room for 120-180 AED, I highly recommend this hotel! At this price, its a great deal, and the experience is worth it.

    Amazingly big room with stunning view over the harbor, the marina, and the ocean. 5 mins. walk to the jetty, and you can cross the creek.Roomservice food is good and fast delivered.Older place with charme and with very reasonable prices. Came here (unknowingly) during Ramadan, so the disco was closed...it was very quiet to sleep!

    I stayed here recently on my Dubai trip and I can say that it has both pros and cons.Pros1. First things first, the location is absolutely nice, right opposite to the Creek and if youre lucky you get the direct view of the creek which is amazing during night. It is walkable to the boat boarding point which will take you to the other side of the creek for 1 Dirham.2. The rooms are very spacious and the carpet adds a nice vibe to the overall aesthetics3. The check in process was smooth and the staff were courteous4. Room services are reasonable5. All the shopping places are close by, you get groceries and essentials within few meters6. Staff here are very friendly and accomodating for your requests.Cons1. I was given the 8th floor room, though it had nice views, I was irritated by the noise that comes from the 10th floor night club that runs till 4am in the morning. So if youre the one to wake up for small sounds then youll have sleepless nights here as youll constantly hear the music2. Breakfast options were less and must need serious improvement in the varietyOverall I feel it is very good value for money, I would definitely go if I ever visit Dubai again.

    The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was tasty and had a nice spread. Al Ras metro is a short walk away. I had corner room with fantastic views of the Dubai creek and the traditional abra boats going around.

    We had a pleasant experience staying in their place. The staffs are so accomodating and friendly specially Naeem. The view from our room is magnifient that make us stay more and relax.     Booked a triple room and got a free upgrade to a corner suite on the 7th floor. Fabulous view of old Dubai and the creek.The restaurant is nice and the food tasty.On our first morning, we asked the guy at the reception where al-Fahidi historical neighbourhood was. He couldn’t help us. We took a cab and it cost us 30 AED. It was right across the creek and an abra ride back just cost us 6 AED.Also, don’t rely on their Travel Desk. They messed up our bookings at the Palm Jumeirah viewpoint and they had to reimburse us the entire 420 AED.Otherwise, a nice experience and will stay there again.

    The hotel was quite good, some rooms are spacious but others not.The location is very nice and nearby the metro station. Few rooms has a great view to the creek.If u have a car and looking for a parking that will be the most difficult part in your accomodation as the hotel doesnt provide a free parking and the area is completely busy.

    Everything was really good, location and service and everything.Breakfast was Indian food and nice collection, everyday something new.Overview one of the best.Employees there were very helpful.The only thing that everyone should be aware of, is that there are multiple nightclubs in the building, and it can be really really loud at night.I personally didnt mind and had really nice staying, but for others, it might be an issue

    We stayed at this hotel since it was economical and we did not want to spend money on a lavish property that we would hardly be in. Additionally we wanted to be close to the metro and this hotel is a stones throw away from Al Ras Metro station.And let me tell you, you get more than you pay for. The rooms are huge and the view of the creek is quite nice. The mattress is very comfortable as well. The rooms definitely need more lights and power sockets though.No complaints about the bathroom though higher water pressure would have been nice but I guess Im nitpicking.The room service food is unfortunately below average. The management should really look into that. However they permit food delivery from outside restaurants so it wasnt much of a hassle.Wholeheartedly recommend.

    Room service and location were the best in Diera. If you just cross the road you get metro access which is very helpful if you are a budget traveller. All indian restaurants deliver here if you just call. The food in this hotel is very very costly. One should never order from there. Better to order from outside.

    We stayed in the George hotel for 6 nights. Our stay was extremely comfortable. To our surprise, we were upgraded and given wonderful rooms with breathtakingly beautiful view. The hotel staff was courteous& ever so friendly. Rahul, from the house keeping, kept the room absolutely clean. I add extra stars for his dedication & work. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Main dish wasn’t repeated in our stay. Freshly cooked omelette & scrambled eggs were served on request. Tea was refreshing & delicious. Overall experience was 10/10.The Dubai creek is right in front & to reach tour Dubai/ meena bazaar is just a 5 min boat ride. The souks are absolute walking distance even for a non walker.

Moreover, if ur fortunate to get a room with a creek view that is icing on the cake. Rooms are very good and spacious. Food is average. Metro station is nearby. However, traffic is bad around this area, so you should have buffer time to see other sightseeing, especially when you have opted for a sharing basis.

    Value for money hotel for ideal short stays whether on business or leisure. The ground floor restaurant is good and serves variety of delicious food. Roof top bar with karaoke is an added attraction. The views from the creek facing room towards Bur Dubai is quite panoramic.     They have a club in the hotel which is operates every night. Noise can be heard and shakes can be felt from the rooms at midnight.View was great but the windows are dirty. Can’t enjoy the creek view through the window.Room is spacious but toilet is aging. Need to renovate the toilet.Took almost an hour to check in the hotel at 11pm. Room was not ready at 11pm night.Location is great, 5min walk to metro and close to the Dubai creek.

The staff are very friendly & prompt, available on call at all times.     By seeing the reviews in google and Youtube and the costing of rooms, i have booked this hotel from Agoda website. It is defiantly a recommended place, in this budget - its one of the decent picks. We lived in the room 311 for 4 nights- 5 days, which is very comfortable and spacious. The room has great city views and creek views. Bathroom is also very clean and spacious and i would definitly recommended this hotel if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel with 3 star facilities.

    The best part of this hotel is location. Its at walkable distance to the creek and to Al Ras Metro station. Behind it is the spice market and Gold soul, again walkable. The rooms have standard amenities that you can expect. Since its a old property the bathrooms are rustic I would say.     I loved the hotel. The hotel is just beside the Al Ras metro. Anyone who got work in gold souq can simply stay here. Also it is at the very end of the creek so the overall outside experience is pleasant. I stayed here for 3 nights and the room was very big in size. i loved the decor. The size of the washroom was also nice. it was clean, staff were friendly too. the few downsides were, my toilet flash was not functioning properly. Though I didnt complain. the room had some tiny houseflies which were really irritating. Also having such a nice location beside the creek, they gave me a room which was back facing that i didnt like at all.

    I have been to this hotel recently on my visit to Dubai for a 3 night stay with family. I must say the Hotel is real deal and value for money. I had bookings for Premier Room but the staff on duty upgraded my stay to a Suite room upon arrival for reasons unknown.The hotel ambience is nice, the staff are helpful, there are some good restaurants around and metro station is walkable distance.There are couple of things you need to keep in mind which I didnt like was that you need to pay 50 AED per day for car park as an extra cost and secondly their are 2 bars in the hotel that plays loud music from 12 AM to 3 AM. You wont be able to have a quite sleep.I am giving one extra star rating just for getting an upgrade without asking and that too the room had a creek view.

    Hotel rooms were good , Manager mr Shahid was good enough to upgrade our room from premium to suite with beautiful Dubai creek view, housekeeping staff was very good , breakfast was not repeated for our 6 days stay. Gold souq, metro Station and Meena bazaar all these locations are nearby and easily accessible from hotel.

    Excellent hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are well kept,neat and clean. Not only that the room is spacious as well. Our room has the best view of dubai creek. I have enjoyed the view of beautiful sunset every evining. Every thing is perfect. Can be highly recomended.

    Had a lovely stay at the hotel, the rooms were well furnished and clean.The meals at the restaurant were above expectations.and huge congrats to the security staff of the hotel who offered me first aid after having a minor accident. All in All.. i felt safe thanks to their attitude and preparedness to help me when i was i need...would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family any time they are in dubai.

    Amazing stay if u are travelling budget friendly, property is in old dubai Deria , and is located at 4mins walk to metro station and almost 5 mins walk to gold souk ,spice souk, two metro station from mina bazzar and right infront of the hotel u can see alseef where j can go via abra ride. If your from India you will just love the food ( chef is from lucknow and he is took good) , also the hotel people where kind enough they upgrade our room to superior room which was just facing alseef , had an amazing stay and would love to come back and stay here

    Good value for money. Good room space, clean and tidy. Crowded streets if you are driving. No parking, you need to pay 50 Dirhams every day. Not good for family because of night club inside.

    Rooms are good and spacious. Basic Emenities are easily available. Can be slightly more hygenic. Location is fine... Not in the center but close to Deira souk. They have good breakfast options.... Also have a 24/7 restaurant. They have a pub for leisure.

    Extremely nice bedroom, everything is clean and beds are extremely soft, the food is great and the view is just amazing. The rooms are also incredibly spacious and the floor is made out of carpet. The hotel assistants are extremely nice.

    Its an awesome hotel with very large rooms and the location is very good to travel by Metro. The Al Ras metro is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. The view towards the lake is just awesome. The food is too good too.

    The hotel is really nice and the stuff is super polite. The price is quite good and reasonable for 3 stars hotel. However, please, be aware of club parties on the ground floor. They’re till 3 am, and it was incredibly noisy at nights.

    The staff gave great effort to make our stay perfect. The hotel has a dj club, cocktails if you want. Breakfast always was a bit different with some standards. Standards like sausages, yogurt (real, unflavored, but jam available to make it fruity if you prefer) are everyday items, as well as eggs. Breads of about 3 types offered. Grapes, watermelon and cantaloupe also are daily fare. AWESOME espresso and Americano.Free iron brought in seconds if one must iron clothes. English well spoken and understood. 24/7 room service cafe.

    Exceptional great stay in the hotel. Location is the best. Metro Al Ras is only 350m, gold souq market is just 5mins walkable, bur dubai market, Meena bazar is 5mins away from government boat which is at 1 AED cost. We got the upgraded rooms and the view from room 706 is breathtaking.Breakfast for Indians is great.Must recommended place to stay

    This hotel, really is an amazing one, both in terms of location and hospitality. This is located just near the Dubai Creek Canal, and has the view of it, just by the opening of the curtains from the rooms. The rooms and beds are clean. They really have great housekeeping service too. They tidy up your rooms, whenever youre away, making them just as new, every time you enter. Wifi too is good and real fast. Special mention to Basher and Naeem, they are really amazing. And even for people, with zero knowledge on tourism and sightseeing, thats not an issue, as they have a travel desk inside their hotel, assisted by Ms.Shrishti. I wouldnt hesitate at all, to book my stay here, yet again.

    My first time in Dubai and the service offered from the moment i got in the property was amazing!..the bellman,front desk agents,offered me top notch services...made me feel at home!!! Also the staff at the bar in the lobby were amazing!....then the rooms are huuuge! Never been to a hotel room that is as spacious as that not unless you take a suite!!     Just 200mtr to al ras metro station. 200mtr to nearest abrah water taxi station. Overlooking creek and Meena bazaar. Rooms are big spacious clean. Breakfast is good Indian and fruits. Liked this place. Though many reviews mentioned loud music from club but I didnt hear anything in my 3 day stay here on 1st floor.

    Best hotel at this price. Staffs are very cooperative and polite. Cozy environment. This place is very close to al Ras station. You can easily go to spice souk, gold souk and perfume souk. You can travel via abra or ferry as well. If I travel to Dubai again, Ill definitely stay at this hotel again InShaaAllah

    I have stayed in the hotel for 27 nights, had good experience the only issue i fave is the noise of music on higher floors, rest the location is pretty good walking distance from metro. Special thanks to Mr Younas from house keeping, he takes great care of customers and really a nice person.

    I really enjoyed being here! Safe & clean with attentive staff... They really do a great job making you feel welcome. The hotel is in a cultural area where you can get an idea of Dubai of yesteryears. The souqs and shops nearby are very interesting with multicultural people. Metro station also nearby which makes moving around easy as well. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!!! 👍👍😊😊

    I stayed at this hotel for 13 days and the service of the staff, especially Deepak was excellent. The cleanliness of the room is great. They clean every day and the staff is also very attentive and helpful. The size of the room is insane. You get a studio sized room with the view of the creek and it is amazing at nights.In terms of the location, I think this is one of the most convenient locations for a Dubai traveler. you get a metro station (Al Ras) in 250 m and the ferry transport is right outside the hotel. Dubai Gold Souk, Spice Souk and the Grand souk is in walking distance from the hotel.

    Its a good place but you need to take a ferry which charges you 1 dhs to reach the real market where you can eat and shop. The exact location doesnt have much to shop or eat just 1 or 2 restaurants maybe . Over all the hotel and services are great. Just take the ferry and enjoy the market as well

    Helpful staff especially Shahid in reception, clean, tidy, good views.Only issue is parking, same all area, chargeable per day 50 AED.ALL ELSE IS GREAT.Renewed in a modern style, the hotel is fresh, clean, with friendly staff with premium location and great AlRass cape views from two sides, as it is located on the island tip.With proximity to Old Deira Souk, especiall Gold Souk, it is a great place to stay.Parking is Paid for 50 AED Daily directly from guard, no relation to hotel reception, you can negotiate the price if stay more days also with respectful staff.Good value for money still

    Due to a flight delay, I ended up staying at this hotel only for around 3 hours to take a shower and a short nap around midnight night, before setting off again to catch a flight at 5:30am. I consider this one of the best value-for-money options if you need a transit hotel room near the airport (taxi fare ~20 AED one-way). For longer stays in Dubai you obviously have more options to choose from.
