I discovered that restaurant through a new vegan menu launch.It was not an “À la carte” experience though so I couldn’t try lots of plates.The vegan cheese was delicious but we had many dishes served with tortillas only.I would have loved a wider diversity.Service was very gentle.And the singer was also unbelievable!I will have to go back there and try more meals if I have the opportunity for sure !

Visited Puerto 99 DIFC branch today to celebrate my birthday with my friends. We had an amazing business lunch experience with everyone who assisted us, Omer, Vera, the chefs, and everyone present earlier. All of them were really friendly and helpful. They made my day special with their sweet gesture of birthday greetings. The food options for business lunch were pretty good and filling and the bonus point was the hibiscus juice which is refreshing. I personally like the cauliflower dynamite. We will definitely be back.😊

Authentic Mexican food, amazingly prepared, great in taste and environmentally a splendid choice.This place surprised me since mostly anything was well prepared and organized.The food was freshly prepared and delicious and the drinks have been amazing as well.Later on they had live music, which just suited the ambience very well.In comparison to the price and even the quality, it’s slightly overpriced, but worth a try.The menu is served via tablet and the staff is super helpful and aware of each table - you definitely don’t feel lost.

The food is good and the place is family oriented. They have live show and live music in the night. One of the early opened restaurants in bluewater. The red snapper is good and fresh. The steak is all good with nice cooking show. Kale salad is nice and portion is big. The gucomoli is freshly done with a fantastic taste. The only thing i did not like is the tall fence and plants that blocked the beautiful sea view.

Maybe a 4.5. Fairly expensive, but good too. Get the soft shell crab tacos, guacamole 🥑 is excellent.. made uniquely too. Skip the stakes (per others with me), stick to Mexican. Great cocktails 🍹. Margaritas are unique and pretty interesting.

Nice restaurant with a nice view of Marina in the Bluewater island. The guy at the reception asked us to check the menu before we sat inside, which I thought was odd because literally no one else was asked to do it while we were waiting and ‘checking to see if we liked anything’.The food was good, especially the grilled octopus and baked snapper. The highlight was the performance by the mariachi band - they were simply super!

Delicious Mexican Cuisine at the Bluewaters, Dubai is taken to another level.We had Street Corn and Soft Shell Crab Tacos for starter; Chicken Mole and Red Snapper for main.The food exceeded our expectations. Full of flavour, beautifully presented, very generous portions.Our host Malik was very attentive and friendly. The service was incredible.The atmosphere at the restaurant was filled with cheer and fun, which then turned to live entertainment of saxophonist playing romantic tunes.We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Went for Saturday Brunch....what a Party! Great atmosphere and entertainment through out. Good service as well. BUT, food was a bit dissapointing. Starters were fine, but too much. Mains were OK, but nothing special. Dessert was Terrible. The Margeritas served was nice, although I really doubt they add any alcohol?? I must have had 15 of them and, anywhere else, I would have been crawling home, but here I did not even feel slightly tipsy. God figure.... also the Margaritas is poured over icecubes instead of crushed ice, which is a shame....on the bright side, you do not get brain freeze! so, if you come here, you come for the party atmosphere, not for the food!

If I could give it all 10 stars. The food is top notch and sometimes spicy, but how could we live without it? Wagyu was served and cut in front of us for a little show with fire. Be sure to try the red rice. Guacamole was also made as a show in front of us and the staff was very friendly. There was also a Hostess (if I understood correctly), he was very positive and every time he passed us he was interested in how we were doing and whether we liked everything. And of course, there were Mariachi, who sang mesmerizingly, so that you didn’t want to eat and interrupt their performance.

Totally loved having lunch at this place! Amazing Mexican food with plenty of tasty vegan options! Alejandro gave us the best service and took care of us during the whole 3 hours that we spent here. Mix of retro and chill music, and even the location is great; my friend and I had a really nice view to Bluewaters Island. Totally recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the food, and especially the staff. The staff was very attentive on a Tuesday evening. The roving mariachi band was very professional sounding, and even did a birthday song for my daughter. Everyone was very happy with the food items. Actually, the drink and food menu has so many enticing items, that we will be required to return. After dinner, we walked upstairs to the bar where they had drink specials for Ladies beginning at 8pm on Tuesday. The view is excellent of the JBR skyline. I expect this place to be popular well into the future. Make reservations.

Went here for dinner. We got seating outside overlooking the sea.Great beers and cocktails followed by nachos with dips. The nachos and dips were complimentary.We had the guacamole, which I would recommend as this is made in front of you by a lovely aunty from Mexico City. This tasted great and you know it is fresh.We also had the queso fundido, which again is made in front of you. Great show. This is served in tortillas. I suggest you eat these while hot as the cheese does solidify after a while.We had a selection of tacos which were ok... The avacado one was our favourite. The mushroom ones are not so great.We finished the meal with churros. These were ok... A bit too crispy.Overall it was a nice evening with authentic flavours, though very good... Not the best. But still worth a visit.The meal was very pricey, so keep this in mind.

I decided to eat out in Bluewater Dubai and I came across Puerto 99, I chose it instead of a French place close by.I didn’t know what to expect however the interior design and fittings lured me in. It is very well decorated however I don’t judge by the cover.It did meet my expectations and more.First of all, the staff for super friendly and took care of me and let me choose table on the terrace I was happy with.Andreas was my waiter and he was very accommodating also to assist him was a lovely blue eyed girl who I didn’t get her name but she did not leave me waiting for a second and made sure I received my dish as soon as it was made as well as other kind gestures and interactions which made me want to stay longer :)She also socialised with me and put me in a better mood as I was thinking this will be another boring restaurant.The did have a live Dj playing pop music which also was cool, and then they had live entertainment in the form of a live singer in traditional Mexican outfit and performing Mexican songs which was really fun and then they had a guy walking around with a skull mask and gently scaring and laughing with the guests and allowed us to take pics which was pretty cool, all this while we were eating and they also had a lady handing out sombreros for us to take photos with.I showed up moody and left happy and in good spirits and a full stomach.The view from the terrace of the skyline is wonderful.The food was good I’d give it a high 7/10, I found the menu a little to niche and slightly over priced, even though there is a minimum 300aed spend you will exceed it with ease, half of the starters are around that price and the dishes hover around 300+.Dishes are served in a timely manner, staff have excellent communication and anticipation of customer needs,I still definitely recommend this place as you are buying more than just the food you are buying the experience and it’s a really good one eating waterside and it’s really awesome for taking photos to for your social media inside and outside.I’m very happy 10/10 with everything else except the food I give it a 7/10, I’m probably being fussy and difficult because it’s not my usual cuisine but I do respect afford and they earned my respect.The staff and management pays attention to detail and I noticed this because they even iron the table clothes so they are super flat and crease free when you dine.

Located in the Blue water island, one of the very fine dining & authentic Mexican restaurant by the lagoons. You will have a ow feeling when you enter the restaurant . the interiors are absolutely stunning and amaze by that. They do have indoor seating and outdoor seating as well . Outdoor view is really good facing the lagoons , specially on winters. Food is delicious , but bit high range of price ! Loved it here & staff are very welcoming and hospitable

You gotta love this authentic Mexican restaurant in Blue Waters, right on the sea side. We tried many of the menu items like tacos, guacamole (freshly prepared), octopus, moules and margueritas.Food is amazing, vibes are out of the world, you never get bored since they keep surprises coming with beautiful bands, shows and music. Service is great and the crowd is amazing.

Food was good, above average. Portions were decent. Presentation was excellent! Social media worthy.Great ambience with live music and a Dj. Can get a bit too loud at times up stairs.Furniture / seating is a bit too cramped up. I had a bad back pain after 2 hours sitting on the wooden chair with not back cushion.Location and view is awesome. But meeras as has done a poor job with directions and signs once you enter blue waters. There is a VALTRANS paid valet service upstairs and alternately you just go down to B2 and park around slots 400 onwards for direct access up, closest to the restaurant.Must try the bone marrow taco :)

Puerto 99 is one of the best restaurants i have dined in. evverything from ambience, food, service is simply fantastic! we could find good vegetarian options which were really delicious. the variety of mexican sauces was outstanding-something i tried fr first time. the service was impeccable and to speak of interiors, they are mindblowing! the mobile digital ceiling gave the feel of amazon rainforest and floor lighting was amazing, too. they lhave live music too!i highly recommend this place to all Mexican cuisine lovers!

I stayed in Dubai for about 2.5 weeks as part of a business trip. Puerto 99 was probably the best restaurant i went to (and trust me i went to a lot!).Food was amazing, location was amazing and the entertainment was also amazing.i went there twice. first time was halloween themed - they had people dressed up in masks dancing around and adding a great vibe to the whole experience.The second time i went - we had mexican singers providing entertainment who were simply unbelievable. I had never experienced it before and really enjoyed it.I enjoyed it both times so much that i felt i had to tell the manager of the restaurant - he was very friendly and even offered me an item as something to remember the restaurant by (it was a plate with a really interesting design that i noticed the moment i sat down - see picture!)Highly recommend this place!

I am giving this restaurant a 4 starts, but I have to say we havent try a lot of food! What we liked was a position of the restaurant, with a wonderful view over JBR...simple and tasty decor, with a very positive atmosphere. It was mid day, we decided to enjoy drink after a long walk....and spontaneous we ordered guacamole and churros. Waiting for the food we were suprised with mariachi band...they made my day! They were fantastic!!!Excellent staff service!!! Please dont make a mistake like most of the restaurants in Dubai....keep your original staff...dont change it later with some lower paid waiters!Keep it going!

First, the food is great! I would put Puerto 99 in my top 3 Mexican restaurants in Dubai. They have a good amount of variety and the selection is friendly to any type of dining lifestyle. Second, the place has a great vibe and tons of energy. The music is great. I wondered if it turns into a bit of a nightclub. They had a mariachi singing which reminded of the time I spent living in Mexico City. Third, the staff was friendly and helpful. I forgot our waiter’s name but he was from Acapulco. A very warm and nice gentleman. Overall a great dining establishment. Can’t wait to go back next week 🎉🎉🎉

Me and my friend had beautiful dinner at Puerto 99. Since we entered restaurant staff welcomed us with smile and service continued perfectly whole evening. Special thanks to nice manager Yana. All dishes and mocktails were really delicious. Live performance of singer created lovely atmosphere. Whole experience was just perfect and for sure we want to visit here again soon.

It is a Mexican Cuisine restaurants. The vibes are really nice and very relaxing. Nice views of the water. The food was delicious, the churros were amazing! The photos show the dynamite cauliflower. The waiters were very friendly, they gave my friend and I a rose each and were handing them out randomly to the customers. They all have a character with the Mexican touch in their uniforms and most or all speak Spanish. They were responsive and readily available.

The staff is wonderful and incredibly welcoming. The food is great with plant-based options as well. Our waiter was exceptional and so were his dishes (the guacamole and chicken quesadillas are cooked in front of us). I had the mushroom pastor taco, extremely savory and filling. Entertainment from the mariachi band was the icing on the cake. I’m looking forward to returning in the future.

It was a big office party celebration so not exactly a typical evening to measure anything by. P99 scored big for friendly participative staff (they lead the dancing, dressed suitably outrageously), great dj and live music (absolutely AWESOME saxophonist! Who IS THAT GUY? deserves fame). Venue is snappy, views would be great (too hot outside right now). Food, tbh, could be better. Again, its not a fair measure of the menu to judge it on platters of party food served to a very rowdy 30+ mob of execs, but it all seemed a bit samey. I think youd have to try the place as a normal diner. So, in summary, hats off to the staff who helped make it a big loud mad night. Memorable. We went there on Sunday evening got a nice table next to Mariachi band, who were performing that night! The music was authentic and beautiful !!!
