    An elegant and classy restaurant with an amazing view on Dubai downtown.I really appreciated the retrò-colonial style.Food was simply delicious 😋, I really appreciated the beef tartare, such I hadnt for quite long time, and the perfectly cooked tomahawk steak.Interesting selection of cocktails and wine.Thanks for the remarkable experience...and a great birthday memory...Strongly recommended

    The view is breathtaking, if you want to spend time with your friends, it is definitely an elite place to choose. Snack platter which is include Tacos, fires eggplant and fried chicken was amazing , absolutely taste is so yummy and successful. I m looking forward to come back here

    Weslodge Salon was recommended by one of my close friends, and it literally passed the vibe check. The atmosphere was amazing and the lighting was so calm, making it ideal for couples and friends.I highly recommend the fish tacos and the southern fried chicken, the dessert menu is also packed with great options.The staff were so nice and attentive especially Mr Majin (not sure how its spelled) who took care of us the whole time. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Mr Vladimir who was friendly and shared great moments with us.

    Very hospitable staff - Michaeil was very attentive and kind to me ! Its a bar and a club and they serve food as well! I tried their fried chicken fish tacos and vegetable tempura! If you are diet conscious don’t forget to try their skinny margarita! 🥰Also their signature sweet dish representing the weslodge logo is killing - in terms of taste and presentation both ♥️🔎

    We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel and we were not disappointed. Great looking restaurant with an excellent vibe. The views are amazing so definitely a restaurant to go if youre looking for something cool and romantic. The staff were super friendly especially our waitress. I had the southern fried chicken with fries and my wife had the lamb chops, both excellent. Dessert and drinks were nice too. We will definitely be going to this restaurant every time we visit Dubai without fail.

    Wow!!Wow!!Wow!!We are still not over the fabulous dinner we had at weslodge saloon last week.Located on the 68th floor of JW marriott marquis Dubai ,Its one of the finest dinner spot in Dubai.Been hailing from Canada, Weslodge saloon serves up modern canadian cuisine with the stunning city views.We visited on a wednesday and it was quite lively and busy.Wednesday is ladies night,which includes two complimentary drinks and a 50% discount on main courses etc.They offer some interesting mocktails and we suggest you try their pink sour sour,heaven on earth,simply herbal and Berry Fusion.Drinks are nicely presented and was refreshing.We kick started our dinner with Fish Tacos,Weslodge Chop and Ahi Tuna Tartare.Their fish tacos are to die for.Its a perfect marriage of batter fried seabass,red cabbage,jalapeno,lime and cilantro.It was bursting with flavors.Weslodge chop is basically a fresh salad made of Avocado,goat cheese and dill vinaigrette.Ahi Tuna Tartare was nice with the perfect balance of flavors.For mains we opted for pastrami short ribs and southern fried chicken along with roasted cauliflower and mac and cheese as sides.Short rib was splendid.It was literally melting in our mouth.Southern fried chicken,one of their best seller is made with corn fed chicken and is praise worthy.It was perfectly cooked with the right crisp outside and softness inside.We enjoyed our sides of roasted cauliflower and cheesy mac and cheese rightly flavored with jalapeno.We finished our grand dinner with one of their signature dessert called Death by Chocolate.In brief,weslodge saloon offers stunning city views from 68th Floor,Amazing food,Lovely ambiance and Great Music in a posh atmosphere.Service was exceptional.A special shout out to Ms Riona for taking good care of us throughout our dinner.

    Came here with my girl friends for my bday celebration and we had a blast! Service was excellent, drinks were amazing! On top of that, i had a surprise bday cake and bday song from them! Thankful to these cool, fun and amazing people! Orin, magic mike and chatty! Thanks for the great time! One of the best bars in dubai! Kinda gave me a “manhattan bar” vibe!     Had dinner at the 68th floor of the @jwmarriottmarquisdubai , the @weslodgedubai , with stunning views out over the Dubai skyline. Excellent fusion between Canadian & American cuisines, with juicy choice cuts of steak or southern fried chicken. You choose! Needless to say, the interior is very classy.     I really liked Weslodge. They offer great food and their red wine was nice. I loved the dessert as well. They have an amazing view of the city and Burj Khalifa. The staff are pleasant. I’ve met very interesting people as well. I’m definitely coming back.

    Born in Toronto in the summer of 2012, a tavern with an impressive, old fashion bar and a concept of elevated casual cuisine featuring responsibly sourced meat, it was only a matter of time before Weslodge went international. Two years ago the model moved across the ocean, landing on the 68th floor of one of the tallest hotels in the world. As it often happens, apart from the name, values and careful approach to sourcing people and ingredients, Weslodge in Dubai seems to surpass its predecessor, opening its door to savvy crowds with great effect.Let’s be frank. This place is fancy. Fancier than most restaurants in DIFC (a financial district known for high-end establishments), Weslodge surprises with a minimalistic yet extravagant approach to design that whispers elegance and luxury. The sign on the door says “saloon” but it’s the only clear indication to categorize Weslodge this way. My first impression of royal hunting cabin quickly disappeared after a closer look at the soft sofas neatly arranged for the comfort of guests. Warm spotlight works perfectly with rather classy walls presenting a combination of two solid paints: beige and dark green. The polished look is accented by a museum-like art collection arranged with a personable touch to create the illusion of home. The importance of detail is evident in the shining crystal glasses, exhibition of occasional eccentrics (skull wall decor, central spider chandeliers and a giant orchid on a red velour sofa).What you see from the entrance is a long wooden bar with a reflective surface and many tempting tall bar stools. The simple décor is augmented with liqueurs, spirits and incredible bartender, Emilio. Emilio is not so simple either. With a proven record of success in mixology, an award wining cocktail menu and expressive jewellery, he is a real character and an attention magnet. Guests seat at the bar just for a chance to interact. Attracted to charismatic personalities, I couldn’t pass by without a chat and needless to say, I ended up with a cocktail in each hand and a secret recipe for homemade jalapeno jam.Moving from the bar into the dimmed dining zone, I was stunned by the view. The whole of downtown Dubai was right in front of me sparkling in night beauty. The full moon rose over Burj Khalifa, softly reflecting in its mirrored panels. The traffic looked rather fun and easy going, pouring slowly from one street to another and changing colours from white to red as it turned. I was able to see all the way to the horizon and a bit beyond into the darkness of the never-ending sky. It was difficult to overt my gaze from this majestic scene. It was finally Riona who got my attention.Born and raised in South Africa, Riona moved to Dubai a few years ago and is a Weslodge veteran. Apart from detailed knowledge of the dishes, Riona is a confident public speaker and keeps an eagle eye on her guests, ready to cheer with a joke or help with a recommendation. I was lucky to get both. While we studied the sharing menu, Riona suggested the following must-tries: Mediterranean sea bass ceviche with pickled watermelon, deep fried calamari with slices of crispy lemon and spicy chilly, roasted cauliflower with curry leaves resting on a bed of almond paste, and obviously the steak.The food created by head chef Abdi was absolutely exceptional and was accented by fresh and often surprising ingredients. The watermelon in the ceviche was a simple touch that turned the originally Peruvian dish into an unknown delicious mystery. Sliced and deep fried lemon in the calamari made me wonder why it wasn’t an independent plate on its own. The steak, served with zesty green salsa and truffle butter, was all crunchy top and juicy middle. I was so blown away by the taste and the presentation that I insisted on meeting the chef. Luckily he made one of his usual rounds and I barely stopped myself from hugging him.My evening ended up with Death by Chocolate (dessert), paired with a very unique cocktail based on peanut butter infused whiskey. I left full, happy and craving for more.

    Great experience in an amazing place, covered in old style interior and pictures. Nice atmosphere with DJ. We got some bites to go with our food and tasty drinks. Definitely try scarlet witch drink!

    Weslodge is a pretty cool concept on a very high story level in the heart of Business bay in Dubai.We went there for R&B night and the vibe was pretty much what we expected.The house wine which we ordered was pretty good and the food which we got was quite good. We recommend the fried chicken and the bruschettas.We felt that it was a bit weird that a saloon was the place for an R&B night but hey its Dubai so who are we to judge lol.

    The place is very beautiful , loved the design beautiful furniture and wonderful views if you get a window table , the bar area was very crowded and alive while other zoons were more quiet , I wish someone asked me when I booked in which zone I wanted to be . The food was good the service was ok , kind of slow and most of the drinks we ordered from the menu were not available .

    Came for Canada with friends, was quiet at first then ramped up towards the end of the night, the menu is a mix of Asian and American food fair and a great place to catch up for a dressed up drink. Theres plenty of seating but a reservation is recommended. The drinks were slow to come out when it got crowded so if you know youre drinking more maybe order more than one drink at a time. The scenic view from the top is just amazing and would come back for sure to enjoy a classy drink

    Weslodge is very cool! First of all, its on one of the top floors of the tallest hotel in the world, JW Mariott. The decor is chic and tastefully organized.     This is an amazing option if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They have an amazing view of the Burj Khalifa and the whole downtown, which is good for chilling and having some booze. The staff is extremely friendly.     Fabulous Christmas brunch with friends. All the non veg food was delicious and the portions were just right. The views were fab and the seating was great. Two issues though:1. Even though I know it was busy, was that the service for drinks was pretty slow. We had to ask for our drinks several times before we received them. This happened on more than one occasion.2. I have two vegetarians friends and the food they got for their main was risotto, and ONLY a bowl of risotto. They had to ask for the roast potato and other vegetable trimmings that us non veg guests had as the vegetarian main was not as well thought out as our non veg main.

    I discovered this place when I was turned away from 1Oak in the same hotel for being dressed in “sportswear”.Weslodge is so good, ambience is great, the crowd is diverse, as it should be. I made many new friends starting from the elevators to the 68th floor all the way to sharing our table with a friendly party couple. A place for open minded and interesting people. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly and welcoming. We went on a Thursday and the DJ is SO GOOD. The Thursday night music is old school with a healthy mix of old and new and some Afrobeats thrown in. Absolutely LIT. My new Thursday haunt.

    Oh boy, going up to the weslodge restaurant on the 65th floor of the JW Marquis building was fun. Its a premium restaurant with a very good ambience if you like to have a coffee in the skies.. The building overlooks the Dubai sea and the near by buildings in Business Bay which are smaller. If you want to take your girl friend for a day out, to give an elated feeling, this is the best place.It elates your mood and gives a slight rushy feeling tob your emotions, which in turn improves relations..Go for it.

    Unique set up with breathtaking views (ask for a window table). The smoking section can get a bit full on, so we chose the other end. Choose non-smoking area for a better dining experience (your sense of smell wont be so messed up). Staff are very friendly and good with recommendations, especially Riona (not sure if I got her name right, but she was so patient, accommodating and really good at her job!). Bartender is the real deal. We tried a couple cocktails, including the classic Mojito that most ppl are incapable of making properly, but he nailed it! Prices are definitely high, but the food and drink are amazing.They lost 1 star because it was my birthday and called a few days in advance to enquire about their wagyu dishes, as well as truffle options. The person on the phone confirmed they were on the menu so we reserved a table, but when we got there the wagyu grade 9+ was unavailable, including the optional freshly sliced truffle! We also selected a bottle of red wine, which was unavailable too! Seriously?!! Anyways, the alternatives we tried were great.We ordered...1) Hamachi - starter (amazing!)2) Spice rubbed lamb ribs (bit too fatty but yum)3) Scorched wagyu with truffle & yuzu sauce (amazing and truly melts away)4) 350g ribeye with truffle butter (served at the perfect temp, but pre-cut and pre-sauced. Would have preferred to have control over those elements myself since I was also given a massive & elaborate steak knife, which i couldnt use to its fullest potential...lol!)5) Pastrami short rib (delicious but a bit too salty after a couple of bites cause its been sitting in a brine for many days in advance)Admittedly, it was a bit too much for 2 ppl, but we wanted to try so many dishes. Apparently there were many more favourites to try. Next time maybe.Thanks Weslodge. We had a great time!

    Superb place located at 64th floor of JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai. I was there along with my friend for a business event. The place is very cozy, stylish decor, wooden floors, a bar counter with seating for four and more. The view from here facing Al khail, happiness street, Sheikh Zayed Road are truely amazing. The dubai city is indulged in the glow of lights. Its a great feel from here. Perfect place for a date, party, networking events and unwind yourself. The staffs are very friendly and cool. I would love to host a success party to my friends one day here for sure.

    What a view. Top floor of the worlds tallest hotels, JW Marriot Marquis. Great Canadian style food with a twist. The bar staff are amongst the top in dubai, Decor is upscale saloon.     We often go to Westlodge with friends. They do Canadian inspired food that is served with a friendly Canadian approach. We love the chips (Pouton) and their ceviche is a must! Head for their their national day celebration for a maple syrup inspired dinner or their Ramadan menu is also a treat. Great for sundowners as the view of the city is amazing - you are up 68 floors (half the height of the Burj Khalifa Viewing deck)
