I recently visited OLD MONK BAR & LOUNGE and had an absolutely fantastic experience! Its a wonderfully happy place to drink with friends and family. The food is incredibly tasty, and the entire staff is amazing and friendly. They truly make your time there memorable. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I am not the type who will leave a review especially while I am on vacation but this place truly deserves a 5 star review (wish I can add more than 5 stars). I would like to give a shout out to all the service staff but specifically ROBIN, he made our night extra special. This is a MUST TRY SPOT for good vibes, ambience, food and for some delicious shots, cocktails and hookah..PS. For all the skeptics out there, this isn’t a paid review as I am not a resident of UAE, this place genuinely deserves a 5 star. Kiddos to management for hiring outstanding staffs..

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I recently visited Old Monk Bar & Lounge in Al Jaddaf, Dubai, and I must say, it was an unexpectedly delightful experience! Located on the HC floor of the Palette Royal Reflections Hotel, this bar offers a cozy, uncrowded atmosphere—exactly the kind of vibe I enjoy. I visited around 2:00 PM, so the place was quiet, which was perfect for me, though perhaps not ideal for the owner!Initially, I had some concerns about payment methods. After calling the number listed on Google Maps, I found out that options like Careem Pay and Noon Pay weren’t available. When I arrived at the bar, I also discovered that PayPal and other digital payment methods I had weren’t accepted. Feeling disappointed, I was about to leave and wait for my friend to bring me some cash when I received a call back from the same number. The person on the line, who I later found out was the owner, went out of his way to offer solutions like bank transfer and even suggested using Zomato to pay. His persistence and customer-centric approach convinced me to stay and give it a shot.Im so glad I did! I ended up enjoying four whiskeys on the rocks, and I have to say, this bar is a hidden gem. The staff, including Robin, the bar-in-charge, were all incredibly professional and coordinated, and the music was just the right vibe for a relaxed afternoon. They also have happy hours with super affordable drinks and great offers, making it a pocket-friendly spot for anyone looking to unwind. If youre a shisha lover, they even offer free trials—how cool is that?Overall, Old Monk Bar & Lounge has made it to my go-to list in Dubai. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a chill, budget-friendly bar with excellent service.Twist of the day: the person I spoke to on the phone was the owner himself—talk about personalized service!

I want to share my experience in old monk it’s amazing experience with the amazing staff, first class to the shisha guy mostafa he made for us a special shisha mixed flavors with alcohol. For the hotel bad experience 0 service I ordered food I called the reception if they can bring the food to my room she told me we can’t I’m alone come and bring them, I asked for another room key to my room because the key was with my boyfriend she told me we don’t have extra keys she opened the room for me, no toothbrush in the room, no towels.
