    Had breakfast on a weekday at L’APERO Dubai, Sofitel Dubai Downtown, and it was an amazing experience! They offer a wide variety of food across all categories, and trust me, it’s absolutely worth it—you’re getting more than what you’re actually paying for. The taste was great, with a fantastic selection of coffee and juices, plus a live egg station. You need to witness it yourself! Highly recommended!

    I was more than happy. An excellent service and hospitality (better than in many places in France sic!) a pleasant ambience and the food… was delicious. Chicken patè as an apetizer was awsome. I will definitely come back there again. Highly recommended place.

    I recently dined at Lapero Restaurant in Sofitel Downtown and had an exceptional experience! The service was fantastic—prompt, attentive, and genuinely warm. The food options were impressive, with a wide selection that catered to all tastes. A special thanks to Sylvia, Mae, and the whole team for their excellent assistance; they made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

    Fantastic platters. We were three of us and we decided on the two Chef’s platters, one with grilled and fried goodies and the other with seafood. Together they created a real lunch feast. Good selection of wines and deserts as well. The service was fantastic with lots of attention from the waiter rooting from Zanzibar.

    Went as a solo diner and was treated extremely well, the staff even offered magazines etc. It has a very relaxed casual vibe, and the lounge style seating was really comfortable. I ordered the Mushroom Risotto, and it was delicious. Prices were reasonable for Dubai! Would definitely recommend!

    We had a business meal after our 9 pm meeting, and the whole experience was beyond expectation. The ambiance was excellent being indoors and outdoors with a view of Burj Khalifa from the open ceiling. Our host selected a fixed menu, with 3 appetizers (French Caesar salad, crab salad, but I tasted no crabs, and seafood salad), and 3 main dishes (steak Rossini but no foi gras, chicken with mushroom, and shrimp américain with vegetables but was not scampi), along with pommes de terre purée. The dessert was crème brûlée and fruit platter (mainly melons). The service was impeccable and we all enjoyed the setup that we sat for 2 hours. The only thing was missing was French background music.I asked to pack the uneaten portions of the main dishes and the staff packed 4 oval carton boxes for me to take home. Of course I had to sign a release. Sofitel remains one of my top favorite in town, always enjoy being there. I did not take pictures as there was no need. The available ones on this site suffice.Thanks to the management and staff.

    Great staff members, the service was always excellent! The atmosphere was nice and they created a vibe with live musicians on certain nights. Overall a great experience :)

    This restaurant is located at Sofitel hotel, downtown. Sofitel Downtown is located right next to Dubai Mall metro and is convenient to reach.Its a fine dine restaurant and has a relaxed, cosy feel. The staff is courteous, polite and very helpful. The food is fresh and flavourful. Being an Accor group hotel, which is a French chain of hotels, they have a large variety of gourmet cheese to pair up with the wine.Enjoy your evening with a glass of wine and choice of cheese. They have great options to choose from for vegetarians as well. The veg spring rolls are a must try. The Jalapeno cheese balls are melt in the mouth and makes you crave for more. Freshly baked pizza is another must try from their menu. There are lot ofoptions for mocktail as well. The place is very happening and has live music playing in the evening.

    I visited Lapero with my friend for the first time and the experience was amazing. Lovely sylvia welcomed us with a smile and offered great menu suggestions. We enjoyed the evening and am definately coming back with more friends

    The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor of the Sofitel Dubai Downtown building. Traditional French cuisine with elements of Mediterranean cuisine. During our halfboard stay, we could order a main course and an appetizer or dessert. From the kids menu we ordered nugests with fries and ice cream. The menu for older people includes croquettes, a hamburger with fries and a salad. Portions for children are large. The taste is ok, nothing crazy. Weak ice cream. Not creamy with precipitated crystals. The croquettes were ok, but the inside could have been more seasoned in my opinion. The midium burger is correct. I expected something better. Very professional and helpful service.

    Both a lounge bar and a restaurant, the Apéro is a really pleasant place where the team is efficient, attentive and very friendly. We went there for dinner 3 times over the course of a week and each time the original setting, the quality of the service and the menus delighted us.

    Super. Lovely lounge. From 1800 to 2000 delicious snacks with a choice of wines. Very well taken care of and the wine glass always filled. Fantastic!
