This is one of our absolute favorite places in Dubai … the steak is always tender & cooked to perfection, the 3 cheese dip as a starter is to die for, and coming from someone who don’t usually like desserts - the cheesecake is amazing (it’s not overly sweet, in fact it’s a perfect combination of sweet and tart from the berries). I also really appreciate a menu with an ample choice of vegetable sides that are tasty and not drenched in butter or cooking oil (that so many places do).Service is also top notch, our waiter today - Golden - took great care of us with solid wine recommendations and efficient service. As a final touch the dessert was on the house because it was my husbands birthday and this was very appreciated (and not expected 😊).

Being from New Zealand, i’m so fussy with steak and the “must try” Dubai spots have been fine, but not like home. Hunter and Barrel is perfection! The meat was unbelievable quality, so well cooked and the starters were to die for too.Definitely recommend the Calamari, best calamari i’ve had in my life hands down.10/10 and I don’t say that lightly, ever.

Delicious food what can I say.Atmosphere and service were also on point. Outdoor, indoor dining options available.We ordered Tomahawk which was the star of the show. Three cheese dip also amazing. The décor is top-notch, lounge music at the perfect volume, and the service is consistently very good!The sharing tomahawk is a solid choice. Pro tip: if you’re dining with someone who prefers their steak well done (blasphemous, I know), they can overcook a few pieces for you. If you’re feeling lean and mean like I am right now, the Angus filet is top-notch. And let me tell you—the burger is easily in the top three in Dubai. My family and I absolutely love Hunter and Barrel. Every time I ask my son which restaurant he wants to go to, it’s always here! We have been many times now and the food is always amazing and steaks are cooked to perfection. We all have our steaks a different way and each of them are always spot on. The service has always been fantastic and the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They always give a warm welcome and they also recognize us now, which is nice. They are also happy to make our little adjustments to the menu, as my boys are a little bit fussy, which we appreciate! I also love the low lighting and ambiance in the restaurant. It has a really cosy and comfortable vibe. It is also really great value for money, as compared with other places and for the quality you get. I also must recommend the weekly business menu, which I’ve never had the chance to try before because of being at work. I managed to get there on torn last Friday and it was such a good deal: 85 dirhams for a main course and dessert and a soft drink- I tried the beef stroganoff for the first time (which was absolutely delicious) and the cheesecake which was yummy too. Our favourite dessert has to be the pavlova though and my son insists on it every time. I can totally recommend this restaurant. I advise you make a reservation, especially at at the weekends, as for obvious reasons, they do get full! Thank you so much to the manger, Georges and your team for always giving us a great dining experience. We can’t wait to go again.

Fantastic steakhouse! Everything about the place was perfect. Service, staff, atmosphere, and -most importantly- food quality and taste. Salmon fillet apptezier was very tasty and fresh. The Japanese Kiwami Wagyu Ribeye is the best steak anywhere in Dubai. Got it rare and was cooked to perfection. Will definitely come back every time Im in Dubai.

Came for business lunch after hearing a lot of good things about food here but wasn’t blown away with the business lunch option. Went for the steak sandwich with it being a steak restaurant which was okay. We added on a calamari to start with which was lovely. The dessert was just given to us with no choice and we weren’t a fan yet desserts on other tables looked more favourable. But at 85AED for two courses and a soft drink it is a good value business lunch.

Went here twice for dinner and we absolutely loved the experience! Their sharing platter is a great choice for 2 people. On our first visit we also ordered mushrooms as the side and they were absolutely delicious. The steak is cooked perfectly tender. The chomps are delicious and so are the chicken skewers in the sharing platter. The salad and thick cut french fries make the perfect combo with the meat. The staff is super friendly. Absolutely love the low lit interior. Great spot for date night or even drinks as theres a bar inside too for people looking to chat and drink.

Overall great experience. The only reason, for 4 star overall rating is because the service toward the end became a bit slow. Otherwise, the food and atmosphere were excellent. We ordered the Wagyu Tomahawk for two and we were plenty full. It was cooked as ordered and definitely felt satisfied at the end. The chicken wings and edamame were also great starters.Some cons about my experience: the alcoholic drinks we order felt like they gad little to no alcohol. As mentioned above, service became a but slow towards the end. If you are going to order CHOCOLATE MI-CUIT (molten chocolate lava cake) order it in advance as it takes 15 minutes to prepare. We were not told this and unfortunately were not able to try it as we were going on two hours for a 2 person reservation.Nevertheless, I highly recommend this place. Food was great, staff were friendly and the little touches of their brand in the restaurant made it a great experience. Would definitely try to eat here again.

They have a good business lunch set at 85AED. We read that the steaks here are good but it wasn’t available on their set menu. Hence, we ordered a la carte.Dishes we got to share:• Salmon fillet- this tasted more smoked than raw, we expected sashimi slices with the condiments/ dressing• Burrata salad- fresh cheese, pesto very fragrant• Wagyu flank steak (500g, MB9+)- basted in their signature sauce. Never had my steak like this before and I loved it. Wished it was more medium rareOn a side note, do try their Basil & Beyond drink! Very refreshing.

The steakhouse is dimly lit with cozy hangout table seating, country house decorations and fish nets on ceiling giving a warmly vibe. Music choice and sounds are good. Staffs are friendly, welcoming and informative. Richard was attending our table that day and he is wonderful. They have wide variety of drinks and great selection of wines. Definitely a place for meat lovers altho they also serve some vegetarian choice. Excellent steak options cook to your liking, their BBQ seafood also delicious. The starter soft garlic bread is definitely yum! As place is fully packed our group of 8 can only get few small tables and small sofas for drinking and snacking thus dinner was not too comfortable. Recommend to make booking a day or two before to ensure you get proper dining table.

This was a restaurant I was quite excited to try but the overall experience did not meet my expectations. Our server was lovely but very slow and often disappeared at times throughout the meal causing us to request/order something from another member of staff. I would recommend the lamb croquettes, the wings, the apple tart and the pain perdu. The steak was nice but not flavourful enough, and at 320 AED id expect that. In conclusion, if youre curious as to where this stacks up against other steakhouses in Dubai, id place right in the middle between the likes of Texas Roadhouse and Seafire/Prime 68 on the high end.

I love this place because it feels warm to the soul. The natural wood gives it a stress-free relaxing vibe. The food was great and service fine. We tried the cauliflower croquettes. They look like mozzarella sticks and take delicious. Their baby potatoes side was delicious. I had the angus filet. It was a good choice. There were a few fibers, but the meat was great. I wouldn’t mind going back.

Hunter and Barrel.. what can I say, other than we absolutely love this place. It has been open for just over two years now but still feels fresh. The staff at the venue are always friendly, attentative and on point. They know the menu well and can offer suggestions on all aspects of food and drink.The feel of the venue is spot on, a cozy semi open lounge area and a formal dining area are split by the long bar which offers in house, barrel aged spirits which are great for cocktails.The food offers good value for money, in my opinion and given the fact it has won best steak house in dubai more than once it is definitely worth the money.As a regular visitor I have seen no decline in service over time, which can become common in Dubai.Well worth a visit and if they have the flank steak special, I suggest you give it a go.

Hunter and Barrel is a fantastic high end steak house from Australia in Emirates hills. The venue suits all occasions from dates to business drinks. This was my second visit.The decor and ambiance is very tasteful and they have a pleasant outdoor area, However the interior is so nice I prefer inside.The barrel aged cocktails are fantastic. My favourite is the espresso martini. It’s perfectly shaken and served at the correct cold temperature.The food is top quality and the menu is designed so that you have a good varied selection if you do not want steak. The potato wedges are heavenly and certainly worth swapping for the fries. The Burrata salad was simple yet delicious. The mixed starter is a must! The firecracker prawn are so good. The sauce needs a little extra spice or at least the option for extra spice. The cheese fondue is AMAZING!. It’s one of those dishes you find yourself thinking about for days! The steaks are superb and cooked perfectly. Personally I feel it should be served with chips and salad not one or the other.The service is impeccable, however a personal bugbear is having my seat tucked in. I do not understand why it is a thing. Does anyone actually like it? Other then that, very attentive and bought a complimentary cake to celebrate our friends birthday.Well worth a visit!

Best steakhouse in the town where we found wide variety on the menu with drinks with an amazing service.We tried Hunter sharing platter, vegan burger, roasted corn & kids mac n cheese with some drinks HH Old Pal, barrel of laughs & la vida loca & finished our feast with some amazing desserts Chocolate Mi-Cuit, Pavlova& passion fruit sorbet.Everything was super super amazing and frankly speaking our kid really loved the pavlova. Omg he was crazy for that. For sure going to visit again very soon.

So Hunter & Barrel is one of my favorite places for steak, the dedication to quality and consistency is what that keeps taking me back, and also their meals are designed to be family friendly which is rare at steak houses.They’ve won several awards over the years and keep winning more.Today it was just the two of us, it was Sunday afternoon we wanted to have a relaxing meal, and we’ve never been to this branch, it’s located inside the Vida, facing the emirates hills, just please take note the entrance is a bit tricky.Also as always I advise bookings, and this venue is licensed.Now for starters, there’s a 3 cheese dip(image below ) which comes with warm pita bread. We absolutely love this, appose to the traditional starters, from which the wings, Caesar’s salad and also the buratta are great.For mains, you’ve the options of burgers, pasta and also a selection of chicken dishes if you’re not keen on the steak.For steaks the selection is carefully curated, there’s wagyu, angus from different cuts, different origins, different times aging and blood measure.We ordered “feast for 2”, it’s coming with one skewer of chicken, one rump steak and also lamb cutlets, one side of chips & salad. This is a great selection with an excellent price. It says for two but I think two adults and one child can easily share it.The lamb cutlets were grilled to perfection.The chicken are thighs and are equally good to. The rump steak is an excellent choice for those who aren’t keen on eating something too lean, rather soft and packed with flavor.Save room for desserts, the pavlova and also the pain per du is very good.

The waiter brought out my food and it smelled amazingggggg!Not to forget the brioche bread with parmesan cheese on top. It was mouthwatering 🤪The chicken wings were my Favorite dish. It was humongous. I had medium and it was cooked perfectly. Though i didnt like the chimichuri that much, the chips and their caesar salad was nice. We also loved both of the desserts that we had. The mocktails were also great. To add to that, the staff were fantastic. They were all very attentive, friendly, helpful and corteous. Yesterday, we visited Hunter & Barrel in Emirates Hills for a dinner family outing to celebrate my sons birthday. It was my first time at the restaurant, and the experience was great. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the pleasant Dubai winter weather made it even better as we were able to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.The menu is quite rich for steak lovers! We ordered bao, calamari, edamame, lobster linguine, wagyu flank steak, tomahawk, Angus steak, a burger and a variety of sides, including corn, broccolini, oyster mushrooms, rice, and fries.The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the wagyu flank steak—one of the best I’ve ever had. It was tender, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. Being a burger fan, I also tried their burger. While the meat was excellent, I wasn’t a fan of the mustard sauce and pickles.Overall, the food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the value for money was reasonable. It was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be returning!

An awesome steakhouse resturants with varied courses. Obviously the stars of the show are the steaks. Tomahawk was sold out so we tried instead the Wagyu flank steak, and it was absolutely delicious. Wagyu tenderloin was also great. There was a dish with chicken sticks and corn, we were not impressed with them. Hunter sharing platter was a great dish to start with especially if you are a group. I would also recommend the kings juice to breakup the strong beef flavors. Burrata salad was so fresh if you like this type of cheese then give it a try.

Great steak house located near Emirates Hills and the Meadows. Prices are very reasonable for a high quality steakhouse. I highly recommend the goats cheese salad, spicy calamari, edamame for starters and to be honest we never ordered anything other than the 1.3kg tomahawk for the main (more than enough of 2 people) and at 550 aed you cant go wrong. They have a great beer selection too, outdoor seating and friendly staff. If I had to pick on anything it would be that the valet service will cost you 20aed.

Went with friends, food and atmosphere really good. Would rate it one of the best steak places in town. My friend ordered his steak medium but it came medium-well. Manager offered to do a new one which we did not want to throwing away food as it was still good. When we got the bill, the manager had taken the steak off the bill which we found an amazing level of striving for customer satisfaction. Really was not necessary as we understand chefs not always get things 100% right particularly when places are packed. At the end it is about spending some quality time with friends in a place where you feel welcomed....and we truly did! Well done guys!

Great aussie steak place in Dubai. Went with friends for my birthday dinner. Enjoyed the selection of wines and meats. The ambience was good and service excellent. The food was great. Although, the only downside to the evening was a bunch of rather loud guests in the corner who seemed to have completely lost their social etiquette and management made no effort to quieten them. Unexpected in a restaurant that aspires for a fine dining experience.
