Based in DIFC, went for Saturday brunch, which starts at 12.30, better come on time becauseit fills up quicklyand it was full!The champagne package is 798 dirhams, non alcoholic or house package is 598.The starters were really good, great selection of sashimi, rolls, including wagyu, oysters and prawns.I didnt really like the main course, though. Good variety - lamb skewers, chicken, wagyu, and lobster, but it didnt taste much.The service was good, but we had to ask for refills, and it took some time.Overall, great vibe with good views of DIFC, but because of the main courses, I am not sure I would come back.

Claps Valentine menu was possibly the best I have experienced in Dubai! Every was so flavorful and the sushi was my favorite I have ever tasted in Dubai! The Seabass was phenomenal. I’m a big fan of business lunches, and Clap definitely doesn’t disappoint! I’ve dined here a few times and always opt for the business lunch! It’s a great deal with miso soup, two starters, and a main which is perfect for a satisfying and well rounded lunch. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere is perfect for a professional yet relaxed setting. Clap is definitely an ideal spot for both business and pleasure!I have tried a bunch of their starters off the business lunch menu. Huge fan of the salmon over crispy rice. It’s so delicious and has been trending appetizer over the last few years. Also love the crispy shiitake salad, it’s very refreshing and delicious esp with the goma dressing. In the past I’ve had the sea bass, salmon teriyaki, and lamb chops so this time I opted for the Trufflerisotto. The risotto was so creamy and comforting and a good portion size.For dessert we ordered pistachio kadaifi chocolate which tasted just like the viral Dubai chocolate and the mango mochis which were so sweet and refreshing to eat after lunch.Clap is definitely a must try for their delicious business lunch menu!!

There is a menu for a range of budgets, but is more suited to people looking for a special occasion.I recommend booking in advance to ensure you have a table to one side so that when it is busy you have less noise.

Luxurious Japanese dining experience ⭐️We walked in without a reservation on Saturday night and the hostess showed us to the bar. The bar was busy with beautiful people and it seemed a lot of regulars which is always a good sign.The bar tender was extremely helpful and accommodating and as soon as two chairs opened up he saved them for us to sit as we wanted to have some light bites.The food was very tasty and the drink menu was unique. Everything had great flavor and the service was top notch. The decor is fantastic and very unique.We then went to the “speakeasy” style bar in the back of the restaurant. The music was good and the crowd was nice.Will go back with a reservation for full dinning experience.

I went for business lunch with a friend and we quite enjoyed our meal. It is priced relatively cheaper at AED 115 than most similar restaurants. However if you add water, dessert or choose an upgraded food option it goes up to AED 180 which is what we paid but no complaints there cause it truly was worth it. Great vibe, beautiful view and yummy food. If you like to eat a lot than maybe the portion size may not be enough but for us girls, we actually had some leftovers.

Recently visited Clap for an early dinner. Place is crazy busy even on weekdays so suggest that you make reservations way in advance.The decor is magnificent with subtle nods to Japanese manga which I found pleasantly amusing.The dishes are flavour full, we started off with the rock shrimp which we couldnt get enough off! Topped it with most of the sushi on the menu along with the tuna Sashimi which was delicious! Main course was beef ribs and Black cod which was cooked to perfection. Presentation is good, for a restaurant of this stature I believe it can get better. Great service by the massive team there. Kudos to them all. Theyve got a great system going to ensure your never kept waiting.Looking forward to my next visit and this time to savour their dessert.

Unlike other restaurants in Dubai, Clap isn’t pretentious even though they serve top quality food.The service was really good and at all times the staff was helpful either by making good suggestions for drinks, nice recos for apps, or fixing our wobbly table.The food overall was great. We had tons of dishes and the only thing I found that was average was the tuna tartare. It needed a bit more seasoning. Aside from that dish, everything else was yum. The edamame with honey and truffle was super good. The spicy edamame was also good.I loved the different crispy rice bites with varied seafood. I recommend the salmon.We had different nigiri and we enjoyed all the little wonderful pieces.The wine and cocktails were also good. I can’t wait to try all cocktails.

I had an excellent overall experience at clap, the food was good, extremely friendly and welcoming staff. My favourite dishes were the fried rice cubes and rice pots, however I found many of the other dishes repetitive like many other Japanese restaurants in Dubai. The waiter recommended the Berry Berry mojito, I honestly was disappointed by how it tasted, like any canned berry juice you can find and the orange drink was very very bitter (Non-alcoholic drinks could be improved) I would say it’s worth a one time try! I appreciate that all staff were helpful, but also I noticed that sometimes the place gets filled with staff in one place especially near the kitchen door. Also at one point I had to ask three times for ice and lemon and was a bit disappointed for not receiving it to the table.

Designated area for bat and drinks with a an open air and remarkable view of Dubai.. you will feel like this area is totally differefrom the rest of the restaurant plus a door is kept closed to seal the noise between the two areas...Overall, I highly recommend visiting and sure you will enjoy the night and the food as well especially if you love the sea food.

We went to Clap in DIFC early on a weekday and sat outside. Because of the restrictions, the tables were very far from each other, so we had a very nice sense of privacy. The view was very lovely and the weather was perfect. The food was very good. It was not an aw inspiring food, but was certainly very good and priced reasonably considering the location.We tried their signature drinks and all were happy with our selections: The Jazu, Gin Zing, Wassap, and Takushi Ride, all very refreshing.The Clap Cloud was very different and unique and we all enjoyed them immensely. Something we will order again and again.Salmon crispy Rice was good, not amazing, but good.The Wagyu Beef and Foi Gras Gyoza was OK, but nothing to write home about.The beef in the Wagyu Beef Stone Bowl was very tender, but the whole dish was somewhat tasteless (last time they put the whole sauce in it and it was way too salty, this time we asked for 1/2 of the sauce and it was very bland).The Rolls were good, specially the Wagyu Beef Roll, but the Nigiri were cut too thin, we could see the wasabi under the fish, so very average for Nigiri.The Yellow Tail sashimi our way had a good flavor to it and was well enjoyed.Overall, not a bad place to go if you want to try something new.

It’s definitely the one of the best restaurant in DIFC. I was recommended by a lot of friends and it did not let me down. Place is cozy with great view of the city. Attended a brunch and found that it was a slow-starter in terms of the energy. The food was heavily fish-based which which is the reason for my rating as the smell impacted non-fish eaters like me. The service was solid and friendly. As the brunch went on, the atmosphere picked up and I thought the entertainment was great.

Thanks to the incredible support from Rony and Kristine, we were able to create an unforgettable event.They were immensely helpful in the planning and organization stages, handling every vendor with great attention to detail and ease. Their assistance extended to providing valuable contacts and helping with the setup as well.During the event, both Rony and Kristine were on-site, ensuring everything ran smoothly. As with any event, a few issues arose, but Rony went above and beyond to resolve them, ensuring our guests never even noticed.I’d also like to give a special mention to Wilson and Nicolas, who were outstanding at the bar and on-site. They made sure all our guests were well taken care of, delivering service that was not only professional but also personal and thoughtful.Overall, we had an amazing experience working with Clap, thanks to the dedication and hard work of Kristine, Rony, Nicolas, and Wilson. Loved the vibes and service the most. Their view and terrace is one of the absolutely best in Dubai for sure.The menu however is not that different from other Japanese restaurants like his well known neighbor.The execution is not as good also. The crispy rice with avocado was ok at best.The rock shrimp tasted like any shrimp tempura instead of tasting creamy and covered in Sauce.The gyoza was OK but again nothing you will remember once out of the door.
