We came during Ramadan for dinner and were seated near another couple while the restaurant was virtually empty. It was so close to another couple that it felt as we were seated at the same table. The tables were extremely close together and I have never experienced another group of guests sitting that closed to me at any other restaurant previously. It was very uncomfortable as it was a couple on a date and I was with my 18-year old son and all four of us essentially were sitting at the exact same table in an empty restaurant with all other tables being empty around us. We were unwillingly listening to all their conversations because we were pretty quiet as pulling words from my 18-year old is like pulling teeth. I almost asked to be moved but felt odd asking that in front of the couple being seated 5 inches from us. I recommend that the restaurant spaces the guests at least one table apart and place them in different locations rather than next to each other when restaurant is empty. That was the only negative experience we had for which I took away one star, unfortunately. Other than that, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was outstanding. We had sea bass ceviche, two tiny tacos with beef, sirloin for two, and pineapple crème brûlée. I would definitely return.

Based in the Address Sky view, Its a unique place in terms of design and cousine combination.The restaurants design is fascinating. Dimmed lights, lots of things to look at, just in case you get bored. There is a moving old plane as a part of the wall decoration. High ceilings, open space but yet cosy.The Japanese Peruvian mix is truly special.You get a quacamole and miso soup for starter, then delicious salad, rolls, wagyu steak and cheesecake as a part of the set iftar menu.The food was very tasty, the problem was, we came for iftar and this place is definitely!! Not an iftar place. Ladies in very short reveiling dresses, no place to pray.Its fine for dinner, but not for iftar.

Last night on Tuesday October 15th I had the chance to attend a business dinner at the Amelia Lounge. It is situated close to Dubai Mall and 6 minutes walking distance from the metro station (Burj Khalifa/ Dubai Mall). The ambiance and decoration in the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The service was impeccable and the food very delicious. The salads with asparagus were great, as well as the sushi rolls. The most delicious part was the Fondant au chocolat with vanilla ice. I would really recommend this place for a great dinner experience in Dubai.

In any case, they didn’t charge me per person. The restaurant experience was amazing, the food was delicious, and the Lebanese waiter was very helpful. I will definitely visit again

I don’t know if this the best interior design /decor for a restaurant/lounge I’ve seen in my life!! It is astonishing to say the least. The DJ is excellent and matches the vibe of the place. Food is amazing and everything we ordered was perfect. Justin was our server and he was very friendly and helpful. I recommend to book a table two nights in advance specially during weekend nights. They have a minimum 600 Dhs per person it is definitely worth it. One of the best places to dine in Dubai

Wonderful experience at Amelia on the weekend, we managed to make a reservation last minute (2h before coming). We were given a table in the non-smoking area which I did not like so much and then I asked to be moved in the smoking area (I dont smoke) where the decor is much nicer. And they moved us in less than 10 minutes. The food was brought fast and was delicious! I loved the black risotto, is so yummy. Also their bubble gum mocktail is so good + looks cute. The only thing I would say its missing they do not give any bread basket which most restaurants offer from the house, but no biggie. Id love to come back.

My friends and I went to the soft opening of Amelia. It didn’t feel like a soft opening at all (I’ve been to a few). The staff were already well trained, the food was some of most flavorful I’ve had in Dubai, and the overall service was fantastic. If this is a sneak peek into what the operation will be once Amelia is officially open, I think it’ll blow minds away then too!The design of the venue is gorgeous. Super high ceilings made me feel like I was in a gothic church from Barcelona with a good amount of greenery to balance it out. The DJ was spinning really great tunes and his stage was epic. It was behind what it looked like a short brass pipe organ.Onto the food and drinks which is the most important factors in a restaurant for me.The nigiris were delicious. My favorite was the Hotate. Reminded me of a spot in Lima, which combines Parmesan cheese with scallops. When I come back, I’m gonna get at least 6 of these. The Maguru nigiri had foei gras and blue fin tuna, yummmm! I didn’t try the Sake nigiri but I will next time.The classic ceviche was well marinaded. They call it the Lubina Cancha. It’s a must try if you like Peruvian food. The Sake Nikkei was also great (more Peruvian/Japanese fusion)! The tuna taco cone was yummy. I wished though that the avocado was distributed better in the cone so you take a bite of a mix of avo and tuna every time you go for it.We had a bunch of sushi rolls which were yummy, but not wow like the other dishes mentioned. What was wow was the Calamares (cazuela). Probably one of the most flavorful dishes I’ve had in Dubai. Please try it. If you love meat, you won’t be disappointed with the Machu Picchu dish. You cook your meat at the table with delicious veggies. It was one of my favorites and super instagrammable if you are into that. We tried other dishes and loved them.I honestly can’t wait to come back. Management is great too. Ognjen was kind, friendly, and really cared for his guests. This restaurant will be top 5 in Dubai in no time. It has all the right ingredients!Tips:- If you want party, try to score a table downstairs closer to the DJ- If you want quieter and an easier place to talk with friends, try the upstairs- The bar area was happening. I’d come for happy hour for sure!- The Amelia cocktail and Passenger are beyond good! Have a few of them- Go for the nigiris as they are truly innovative versus most of the rolls- Even the bathroom is beautiful. Ladies, take your time and take some pix ;)

Second , the concept of granting you a table for two hours only will kinda affect your experience and I would suggest having a minimum charge per table rather putting time limits . This also affected our decision to order a bottle of fine liquor as we agreed that we wont be able to finish it in two hours ! I hope the same quality of service , food and experience continue across the months and years and definitely will visits again and assess my review too . Well done
