This time I used the ahlan first class VIP lounge and enjoyed delicious curry beef. The quality was very good and it was very memorable. I fell in love with it after trying it. The other food was also excellent. I often travel to various places for business, and this time the curry beef was the best I have ever tasted. The staff is good and attentive.

The Ahlan First Class Lounge is located in terminal one in Dubai airport. To find it, after leaving the train and entering the freezone area, go across the first shop, which sells perfumes, whenever you ended crossing youll see an electrical escalator on your right, take it to the first floor, the Lounge will right then left, a few meters away whenever you reach out the first floor. The Lounge is very friendly and the food is excellent. The only issue is that the space is a little small, because they have cut a large space for first class travellers which they dont really need.

The Lounge is indeed impressive and used to exceed my expectations. However, in the last time they had so much ruch and no proper control to whom enter or whom next as if all travellers are first class or gold members. This is my comment to better conrol the access but over all high service levels and great stuff live station and order menu live coockinh plus buffet and great Bar. Amazing experience..

A premium lounge thats a cut above the Ahlan business class lounge and the best Ive been to in Terminal 1. Its larger with more separate rooms to sit in, a buffet and a la carte menu with ok but not amazing food, a bar, and seating that includes table seats, sofas, lazy chairs and even massage chairs. Being less busy than the business class lounge, its more pleasurable and relaxing to use this lounge.They also have waitstaff who can take your orders and the waiter attending to me was very friendly and professional.

What a hidden gem! This is clearly by far the best lounge in Dubai Airports Terminal 1!I already knew the regular Al Ahlan business lounge here, which is already very good and better than, say, the Lufthansa Lounge, here at terminal 1 - but the first class lounge is a real step up. Its complimentary for business class passengers of Oman Air or also Singapore Airlines.They surprised my with a big selection of really great, high-quality food, as well as wines and good champagne. Theres also good shower rooms.

Very nice lounge in Terminal 1. Would actually say it is the best lounge in Terminal 1. Can be accessed with numerous airlines if you fly 1st or Business Class, and they also accept Dragon Pass. For Lounge Key and Priority Pass, I believe you have to use the Ahlan Business Class Lounge or other lounges. Good variety of hot and cold food and drinks. Spacious and has massage chairs, a smoking lounge, a little kids play area, and nice showers. If you dont want the buffet, they also have ala carte dining, which is semi-limited but good. Would definitely recommend it.The staff are friendly and attentive.The sushi is not so great as the rice is a bit mushy and extremely sweet (they need to change the seasoning mixture as it is really not good).As for 1st class lounges, it is not the best, but it is in Terminal 1 and not the premium Terminals. That said, its definitely a good lounge and by far the best in Terminal 1.

This is the best lounge by far at T1 DXBI traveled over last few weeks and they did not accept any lounge key. It’s only when you fly first or business class on certain airlines they extend the invitation for this lounge.Hence there are very limited users, which is better service and less noisy.They serve a full hot buffet, along with the rest, but they also serve al carte, with some decent selection of foods, but they do take long time to prepare - just keep in your mind.Lots of brilliant seating around this lounge.Recommend…!

Was there at around 8:30am. It wasn’t too croweded as other reviews said and there were many seats available on the inward side. I guess it really depends on time you get in. They didn’t have lots of options for finger food since a la carte menu was offered. Wish there were more dessert options though. The lounge is clean and cozy. There are a Kids play room and sleeping room. The best lounge in Terminal 1.

Entered with my Natwest Dragonpass on an economy flight. One of the best lounges Ive visited, easily on par with Virgin Clubhouse at Heathrow. Wasnt very busy at all at 11am-1pm on a Saturday. A la carte menu and table service, great buffet too with amazing desserts. Wide range of drinks and cuisines. Made a negroni upon request. Best dosa Ive had in a while so recommend this if you like Indian food (hats off to the chef).Only areas for improvement are charging/power facilities, and could do with 1 more waiters to serve the passengers (the main 2 guys were brushed off their feet).

This represnts the higher tier lounge that is run by DIH and effectively the home airport loungeb that is offerred for first class and the hiest tier flyers with various participating airlines, most third party lounge provider members dont give access to this particular lounge. Its aesthetics are similar to the Ahlan Business Class Lounge which is nearby but is more exclusive, with better seating, furnishings and decore elements with noticelby better quality quality catering offerings and more attentive staff as it should be at this level. It compliments the premium travelers journey. It is an excellent lounge, and as such, it is benchmarked at a very higher level.

This must be the best lounge in the Gulf! Located in terminal 1- first floor, found this in my recent trip and had to try it out. First to mention is the friendly staff, they all impressed me. They were just to friendly, suggesting dishes and such. Mr Valens and chef Adam did amazing service and have to mention! They both are a gem to this lounge.To start with food- high quality & tasty veg and non veg buffet, bread and bakes, sushi and plenty variety salads, coffee machine, ice cream machine, juices, alcohol and most importantly ICE SLUSH machine!Arabic and international desserts were the highlight and tastiest! Enjoyed it and wish I had more time to taste them all.A la carte menu has a good selection of limited dishes, prepared freshly and is included in lounge access. Calamari suggested by Valens was superb!Good wifi connection, shower room, prayer room, children play area are includedDefinitely a worthy visit and looking forward to visiting again.

One of the best lounge in Dubái international terminal 1.They have plenty of options of hot and cold food item.The lounge is quite big and the seating area is very well arranged.They accept lounge key.Their menu is very well balanced with vegetarian and non veg dishes.They also have a good selection of salads and appetisers.And this lounge is generally not as crowded as some of the other lounges that accepts lounge key.It’s located on the opposite direction of marhaba lounge.

A premium lounge that is above the Ahlan business class lounge and the best Ive been to in Terminal 1.Being less busy than the business class lounge, its more pleasurable and relaxing to use this lounge.They also have an amazing waitstaff who can take your orders, special thanks to the young and smart waiter shishupal for attending to us he was very friendly, professional and very smart. We were very impressed by him, we even asked him questions regarding the gates and other airport services and he answered all of our questions. He was also attentive with all our food requests and made special modifications to our orders to fit our request we left the lounge very happy and relaxed.

Excellent service by Shishupal! He had great suggestions for food and drinks and was always to attend to any question or request. Food was great, especially the fried calamari which was cooked to perfection and served with excellent tartar sauce. Unfortunately, I only had about 30 minutes before boarding to enjoy the Ahlan first class lounge at DXB airport. The lounge offers a seating and restaurant area. The service was very attentive and helpful serving drinks and food. A friend of mine recommended that I try the burger and dim sum. So I ordered these two items from the a la carte menu. As I told the waiter that I dont have much time, they served the starter and main dish at the same time, so I had enough time to eat both dishes.The buffet offered a very wide and good looking variety of warm and cold dishes as well as desserts. Due to my limited time, I didnt try any of the offered food from the buffet.Hopefully, I will have more time to enjoy the lounge facilities and amenities when I return to Dubai in future.Thanks to the team for the great service.

The other review here at time of this posting must be confusing the Emirates First Class Lounge for the food court downstairs. Because clearly he has never been in this lounge. Firstly this has got to be the biggest lounge in the world. To put that in context the business and first class lounges have a floor each and cover the entire terminal. So you can board your Emirates or Qantas code share flight straight from the lounge no matter what gate your flight leaves from.The Emirates First Class Lounge is travellers heaven. Acres of comfortable seating, multiple dining areas, multiple shower locations, spa, cigar bar, quiet areas. Wow, this place is spectacular! Did I mention there is table service everywhere. Service plus!Having arrived from Sydney on Qantas with an 8 hour stop over. And here I can admit that I actually chose this route because of the Emirates First Class Lounge. No matter which way I flew to Amsterdam there was going to be a stop over. So choosing to leave QF1 at Dubai and pick up EK147 allowed me 8 hours to luxuriate in the lounge.Back to the narrative. Having arrived a luxurious shower hit the spot. And here Emirates need a special mention for the quality of their toiletries, no cheap and cheerful generic blue razors that take a layer of skin with your stubble, no sir Shick FX all the way. Even the toothbrushes are name brand. Dont tell anyone but I dont pack a toothbrush and razor if I know I am stopping by an Emirates lounge on the way to where ever. Anyway as I was saying a luxurious shower followed by a couple of hours kip in a quiet room had me ready for a 5 star meal.Choices choices Full sit down table service and a comprehensive menu plus the signature perfect staff. Or the spectacular buffet perfect for those short stop overs.Ahhh bliss.If I am lucky my next flight will be delayed. Good on you Emirates!

Delightful oasis while in transit in DubaiThe fisrt class lounge is available (naturally) to first class passengers but also to Platinum Qantas travellers.If you can get into this lounge it is far preferable to the Emirates business lounge.On offer: a cavernous facility that extends the whole length of the terminal.24 hour fine dining (a ala carte service to you table) with great wine selection, spa treatment, quiet sleeeping room, business centre, casual dining, TV viewing, shoe shine, heaps of magazines to read, lots and lots of seating and tables so yiuo can be as far from the crowd as as you want :)Some flights have a gate IN the lounge so you can go directly from lounge to aerobridge... a nice touch if you are tired or overindulged in teh top quality champagne in the lounge :)

It was fairly busy when I visited back in September last year during the evening. One of the best lounges in the Middle East if not the best at all. The staff are very helpful and nice. The place is clean, luxurious and tidy. The food is great either a la cart menu or the buffet. However, I didnt like the Dim Sum platter that much although it was recommended by many people here. I took the shrimp soup from the menu and it was great. Bathrooms are clean and equipped with all your needs. I was heading to Saudi for Umrah and I have the ability to take a shower and change my clothes to Ihram cloth there. This was really helpful and convenient 🙏.

Few weeks ago I was able to get early to the airport. I was already planning to try Ahlan’s waiting lounge as I had already tried the other waiting lounges. To my surprise it was a quiet night. There were only quite a few passengers waiting and having their food. I had a peaceful 1 hour or so stay. What I didn’t like was the washroom, I was about to open the door and I saw the situation. I closed it back ad it was dirty. Nevertheless, I had a peaceful stay with a great service from Ahlan staffs.

Samantha gracias at reception was very helpful in guiding thru the process of dragon pass and giving us hassle free experience. At my stopover I visited The Beautiful Ahlan First Class Lounge and was very satisfied and happy with my stay. There is too much to list, but they had everything you could ask for, A menu of food along already prepared options, massage chairs, lounge area, clean bathrooms, prayer area, Amazing staff and service. I was served by Mr.Jayus and Mr.Valens with the most care and politeness.As being the first class lounge there is room for Improvements... Quality of food can be improved. Sushi (was sparse on ingredients and juciness and also Baklava was very basic (could be a little better).Ambience(lighting needs to be less bright and more exclusive in each area)

By far one of the best travel lounges out there. We were travelling with star alliance (Singapore Airlines) transiting in Dubai, with very limited time to visit the lounge.The staff were amazing, promptly taking our orders, prioritising the kids food and ensuring we were on time for our flight while gettint the most out of the visit. The quality of the food and options presented were that of a top end restaurant quality.Unlike other lounges, this one still has the new vibes, very well kept.Would love to have the opportunity to visit this lounge in the future.

I was immediately made to feel welcome upon entering. The concierge confirmed my airline connection and explained all of the lounge amenities. The food and drink choices were vast and the quality impressive. The shower room was very clean and well stocked with towels and soaps. The custodian A perfect place to relax and wind down before a flight or while waiting for a connecting one. Everything was perfect, from the atmosphere to the food and drinks. And lets not forget about the amazing service Overall a very positive experience. This lounge was highly recommended by a friend and I see now why.

The Ahlan First Class Lounge is a top-notch lounge. The space is beautifully designed. While everything on the buffet was delicious, it wasn’t super extensive. Instead, it was designed as a complement to the incredible a la carte dining offered throughout the lounge. Unlike many lounge buffets, the dishes here were labeled with all their allergens, which, as someone with allergies, I really appreciated. Throughout the meal, an attendant checked on me every few minutes. The beverages were just as impressive as the food. The visually appealing bar was stocked with plenty of top-shelf alcohol. There was also a full drink menu with plenty of wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic choices. Most impressive, the lounge offers an assortment of premium amenities, such as high speed internet, business centre, showers, spa and a kids room. Coupled with the excellent food and beverage offerings, the lounge is a must-visit on your next visit to Dubai International Airport Terminal 1.

So we know that the lounges in DXB terminal 1 generally suck (actually the whole terminal does), and are long overdue for a facelift. I’ve been to every single one of them and this by far is second best (first prize goes to the British Airways lounge which is only accessible to BA travelers). This lounge is accessible to premium Mastercard holders with Dragonpass and select airlines business/first. Tucked away from the other lounges, don’t accidentally go to the Ahlan business class one which is far busier. Ambiance is zen, showers available, service is attentive, food is decent and best of all, they serve actual champagne. It’s definitely not the first class lounge one would expect of an actual first class product, but given the alternatives in this terminal, it’s the best one to go to.

Visited here often. Usually I see people struggle with the lack of food at the salad bar, but all the benefits of this lounge comes from the menu. Simply ask the people for the menu or grab one near the bar. There is a fine selection of sushi, sashimi, burgers, etc. You can find some great liquor and beer as well. (However, not during Ramadan)

Excellent Lounge in Emirates HUBI used it in my last business trip to KSA. It was a late night stop.Restaurants were excellent. Staff was excellent. Perhaps ther is no too many dishes or beverages to choose.I used the Restaurant Service at 2:00am in the moning, Service was great, cook was incredible. I order some Tandori Salmon, perfect served as demanded.Cheese selection incredible: British and French amazing cheeses, perhaps it was missed variety from Spain or Italy.Breakfast at 6:00 was excellent too.To improve: Sushi and wine -champagne list; increase cheese asssortiment selection.With no doubt I will use the lounge again.
