    A very nice place to have dinner. Nice live music, with some performances. Very good sushi. Great selection of drink. A international menu with from Mexican food to Sushi and delicious burger. The staff is very professional and friendly they were trying to allocate all our requests. Plus the place has a nice view from Downtown and business bay. I highly recommend this place.

    We had the most awesome girls night at The Above Lounge! The service was top notch, the entertainment was fantastic especially Ana the amazingly talented and beautiful electric violin musician❣️We enjoyed sushi, prawns, fried calamari, Caesar salad, and yummy drinks and drinks galore! It was a glorious night🌺

    It’s a nightclub/restaurant/lounge in Downtown Dubai Sofitel Hotel with stunning landscape views, live entertainment (gorgeous Westen dancers, singer and saxophonist ) , shisha, food and drinks. Place was quite cosy on Thursday night and music was loud but not overpowering. I had crab salad and California rolls, both portions are quite generous. Place has self-parking option.

    A glimpse of very Well spent Saturday evening at a very happening place in the heart of Dubai ... with all the positive vibes ... . Indeed one of the amazing place to enjoy shisha .. .@playerdxb located on the terrace of @sofiteldubaidowntown ... is the perfect place to chill with your family or friends .....with a giant projector, multiple tv screens that broadcast the latest in sport, whilst accommodating pool tables, darts & many other games for some friendly competition among friends. There is also a huge extended area with an open terrace that serves Shisha and with a view that overlooks the Burj Khalifa & the mesmerizing downtown. ....The food is just amazing ... we tried their Nachos with minced meat, Shrimps ... salad ... quesadillas ... buffalo wings... & some drinks ... everything was perfectly cooked..Thanks to @whitelabelme for introducing us to this awesome place where we would love to go over & over again. & also thanks to @ann_nichole & the whole of @playerdxb for hosting us. ❤️❤️.

    Beautiful pool terrace with amazing view of Dubai downtown. Plus happy hour from noon till 20h on selected alcoholic drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. It says only for hotel guests but concierge can arrange for you to get in with no charge. Simply stunning!

    Player Sports Bar located at the Sofitel Downtown is a perfect place for the game night. We reached early to secure our seats as we knew that the place will be packed once the game starts. They had other entertainment factors such as pool table to keep you busy. The place is pretty spacious and can accommodate a large crowd. The glass windows gives views of the downtown. They have promotional offers going on as a part of the FIFA World Cup. We also got a chance to munch on bar snacks such as popcorn, sliced carrots and cucumber, spring rolls, onion rings and samosa.

    In the Sofitel Downtown hotel, this bar locates on the fifth floor. Its contains an area of open space where smoking is permitted. Food, drink, service and ambience all good, except the price. It costs (GBP 6) at happy hour for a glass of white wine that took me two sips to finish.

    Yesterday I visited the lounge with an amazing show, and the impressions were extremely positive! The atmosphere is captivating, with a comfortable and stylish setting. The show was a real art: spectacular performances, talented performers and a thoughtful script. Each performance kept me on the edge of my seat and left me wanting to see more. An excellent place for evening relaxation and entertainment. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality leisure time and an unforgettable experience!

    One of the best lounges in Dubai with German owners and German quality 😍 The food is incredibly tasty 😋 and the service is very friendly 🌹 Since we also like smoking shisha, Above is perfect for us with their different and delicious shisha tobaccos ☺️! Very good price-performance ratio! 💵Very nice atmosphere with a wonderful panoramic view of the downtown skyline in the background. 🌌A table reservation is required, especially on weekends.
