So, I live in Kuwait and have checked out a bunch of Salsa dance academies both here and in Mumbai. But let me tell you, the best instructors Ive come across are Raj and Shan in Dubai! They’re super flexible with my travel plans and even come to my hotel to make things easier for me. Honestly, even after landing in Dubai on the same day and dealing with long work hours, I cant wait for those Salsa nights. The workshops are always such a blast—so energizing and interactive! Ive never learned the technical stuff anywhere else like I have with these guys. Im really looking forward to it every time!

Tested a couple different dancing schools and stayed with Shan and Raj. In dubai its not that easy to find the quality and experience with the actual goal of improving your dance skills as fast as possible. While you would be kept in endless beginners courses at other schools to keep you paying you have here the chance to reach the proper skills to win competitions while having memories for your lifetime.

I have been taking private Latin dance lessons with Raj and Shannon for the past few months in Dubai and having had lessons at other places I can 100% say they are the best! I have learned samba, salsa and bachata to develop general dance skills. The main reason for me taking lessons is to help me prepare for my routines as a professional bodybuilder. Raj and Shannon have taken on this challenge and have helped me not only master the steps but also gain the confidence in performing and presentation that I need to be competitive. They pay attention to every little detail - from hand placement to direction do gaze - which takes a performance from ‘nothing special’ to ‘spectacular.’ I have also taken group lessons and they are also super fun!

Raj & Shannon are very good instructors. Have been learning Salsa from them for last 8 months and it has been an amazing experience. The confidence my instructor Raj had in me was super motivating. I also took part in the international Salsa competition for beginners and stood a second prize. I definitely will recommend this class for all dance lovers.

My wife and I took private classes with Shan and Raj to learn latin dances and prepare for our wedding dance. We had a great experience. Shan and Raj are simply the best - very professional, caring and friendly, detail-oriented with very effective teaching skills and a positive attitude. Thanks to them we managed to put together a 5-min salsa/rumba choregraphy in less than 6 weeks despite our (very) poor initial dancing levels. And importantly, we also had a lot of fun ! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn salsa/rumba/bachata in Dubai!

When my wife first approached me with the idea of joining dance classes hosted by Raj and Shan, I greeted the idea with a fair degree of skepticism. My initial response was “what can they teach an old dog likeme ? Is it not too late to get familiar with and enjoy the rigors of a defined dance form ?”Three months after working with Raj and Shan, those doubts have been dispelled and skepticism has given way to wonderment and excitement. Starting with two left feet that just could not work in tandem, to get to a place where the hands and the feet move in unison and in rhythm ( albeit still work in progress) has been an achievement that I would solely attribute to Shan and Raj. It has been a culmination of their painstaking effort, infinite patience and constant encouragement. So much so that my wife and I have mustered the courage to perhaps perform a cha cha at our son’s wedding !What sets them apart as teachers, other than their knowledge and mastery of dance forms is their passion to share and impart that knowledge. So, there is no clock watching. You go for an hour’s lesson and it could stretch well beyond as they answer your doubts and help you remedy your deficiencies take after take. All done in good humour and with tons of encouragement but no meaningless platitudes. If you have missed a beat or if you have messed up your footwork, both Raj and Shan will not hesitate to call you out. So no false sense of complacency. The mantra is of course you can improve, age is no barrier but it requires dedication and perseverance.As a skeptic turned believer, I would whole heartedly endorse Raj and Shan. They have made dancing fun for me, evident from the fact that I can now be seen skipping around the house practicing the dance steps that I thought were too hard to master.

Attending the salsa and bachata dance class was an exhilarating experience. I used to be very hesitant of dancing in a public space or with a partner.Shannon, Raj and Balas expertise was evident as they guided us through the intricate footwork and sensual movements of both dance styles. They also stressed on the importance of connecting with your partner, expressing yourself through the dance, and the social dancing etiquettes.The class had a great mix of beginners and advanced dancers, creating a dynamic atmosphere where everyone could learn and grow together. Their patience and individualized attention to each students progress is commendable👏👏.Its been 4 months since Ive been attending the classes, and I feel much more confident in my ability to dance these captivating styles. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is interested in learning how to groove to any of the latin forms of dance.

How do u call the combinations of: Curry & Naan, Biryani & Raita, Puto & Dinuguan, or Fish & Chips? PERFECT! Just like the PERFECT PAIR ~ our dance instructors Shan and Raj! They have the ability to bring out the best in you, once you decide to dance with them. I am so grateful that I chose their studio for my Salsa and Bachata classes, because I have learned a lot even after just a handful of sessions. As of now I plan to continue attending more classes to continously improve. Absolutely fantastic dance classes! We had the pleasure of taking private lessons at our home for Bachata and Cha Cha Cha, and it has been a wonderful experience. Bala is very skilled and he is fun and patient. He is able to tailor the lessons to our pace and skill level. We have learned so much in such a short time. If youre looking for a fun and personalized dance learning experience, this is the place to go!

I started bachatas private lessons in Dubai after a stop of 2 years from when I was studying bachata in Italy.After only 4 lessons I feel Im better and I know more than after months of lessons in other schools.The fact that Shan & Raj are competitive dancers shows in the level of details and attention that they put in teaching you.I got taught details and techniques that nobody showed me before.So I super recommend them to anyone really interested of learning dancing the right way and take you skills to the next level.

They are sweet, fun and motivating.I have been to multiple dance studios, but this one has character, overlooking a private garden, and its clean and Covid-safe. Best dance studio :)Raj and Shan teach Salsa, Jive, Cha cha, Bachata, Tango. I have taken both - group classes as well as private classes, and I highly recommend them if you live in Dubai.Its a fun place to learn how to dance workout being judged. The instructors are amazing! I took private bachata dance classes at home in Dubai with Shan & Raj. I took the classes for my boyfriend to learn bachata. He started off as a complete beginner and made such fast progress! After just 3-4 classes he was already intermediate level. His rapid progress is thanks to Shan & Rajs clear teaching style. Highly recommend these guys for a class if you want to fast improvement!

Raj and Shan are extremely passionate and dedicated dance instructors. I have been training with them since August and look forward to each session. I am currently learning the Jive and Cha Cha and have completed the pre-bonze level. Training with Raj and Shan has helped me live a healthier lifestyle and improve my posture. I have also improved in terms of strength and endurance as a result of their professional training and advice. They also provide their students with numerous experiences such as workshops, competitions, and many others. In December, I attended a workshop led by Vitali, a WDSF competitor. Raj and Shan are very encouraging and dedicated to making me a better dancer. It is commendable that they focus on the intricacies of dance and its techniques. Looking at them was a motivation in itself, but noticing which student is doing what and giving that individual attention in a group class just shows their eye for detail.
